Privacy Policy

Twin Lanterns ("we", "us") is an early-career recruiting firm. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us:

• Student applications: name, contact details, university, major, graduation year, links you share, your résumé if you upload one, your availability and your written answers.
• Company requests: company name and website, your name, job title and contact details, and the details of the role you want to fill.
• Basic usage data: pages viewed and how you arrived at the site. We do not attach names, emails or application content to analytics events.

How we use it

• To review your application or hiring request and follow up with you.
• To match students with roles and introduce candidates to companies.
• To send you transactional email about your submission.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing email from this site.

Sharing

Student profiles are shared with a hiring company only when we are matching you to a specific role, and only with the consent you give when applying. Company details are shared with candidates we introduce. We also use service providers for hosting, database, storage and email delivery, who process this data on our behalf under contract.

Résumés and storage

Résumés are stored in private storage that is not publicly accessible and can be opened only by authorised Twin Lanterns staff. Application data is stored in an access-controlled database.

Retention

We keep applications while you are an active candidate in our network and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Company hiring records are kept for as long as the relationship is active plus a reasonable archival period.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, at any time by emailing privacy@twinlanterns.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify people in our network directly.
